On the evening of 15 July, we took the chance to visit a beautiful exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum featuring various types of Christian art belonging to the churches in Asia, including this beautiful pieces hailing from the Philippines!

We also came in time for a curator’s tour of these exhibits, albeit not knowing this tour was private! Nevertheless, the folks were kind enough to let us follow the tour although we sort of sneaked away as we felt guilty for not paying the tour tickets – $25 per person. LOL

And another sculpture featuring the Madonna & child from China this time. Looks amazing how these sculptures have been adapted to reflect the local culture.

Christianity in Asia will remain at the museum until September.

Signing off,
Alvin
